Model Upload Feedback Centre

You must be registered and logged-in to upload models to Airigami X.
All models are reviewed and are hosted subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Please be aware that not all models will be accepted! All model submissions must meet the guidelines listed here. Decisions by Airigami regarding acceptance and continued hosting of any design shall be final. For the benefit of our community of designers, effective for designs uploaded in August 2025 or later we provide limited feedback on designs that are not accepted so to build the capacity of our design community.

Codes

Every upload that has not been accepted is coded with the reason for non-acceptance. Further explanation of what each code means is provided below. NOTE: There may be multiple reasons for a model not to be accepted, however not every reason is necessarily listed.

Please refrain from repetitively uploading the same design. If you have uploaded a design and it has not been accepted within a reasonable timeframe, please consult the Feedback Centre below to understand why your design may not have been accepted. Before attempting to upload a design again, you must address the feedback on why it was not accepted. It will not be magically accepted just because you keep uploading it again and again.
X Rejected – Accuracy Design rejected due to insufficient accuracy. This may include various reasons, such as colour choices, logo placement, lack of registration mark, etc. It is difficult to define such a minimum level of accuracy, and so the management of the Airigami web site shall have sole discretion on judging the accuracy of any submission. Refer to our FAQ on quality for further guidance.
X Rejected – Deprecated Design rejected as template not accepted. Models must be designed on existing Airigami 3G, 4G, or 10G templates. We do not accept any other formats and we no longer accept submissions for Papier Avion or Airigami.8. We only accept designs using 3G templates where the aircraft type is not available as a 4G or 10G template.
X Rejected – Fictitious Design rejected as fictitious. Models must feature designs that currently or previously existed. We do not accept “fantasy” airlines, designs, or combinations. For example, we do not accept designs of “pretend” airlines, or non-existent combinations such as, for example, a Qantas Concorde or a British Airways Antonov.
X Rejected – General Design rejected for miscellaneous reasons at the discretion of Airigami management.
X Rejected – Non-Civil Design rejected as non-civil aviation in nature. We accept military designs only if they are “dual-use” aircraft, i.e., government or military designs of otherwise commercial aircraft. For example, a military Boeing 737 is acceptable, however an F-16 is not.
X Rejected – Incomplete Design rejected due to incompleteness. This may include various reasons, such as missing design elements, lack of registration mark, etc. It is difficult to define such a minimum level of accuracy, and so the management of the Airigami web site shall have sole discretion on judging the accuracy of any submission. Refer to our FAQ on quality for further guidance.
X Rejected – Metadata Design rejected due to incorrect data in the Airline, Aircraft, or Color Scheme data fields. This may include inaccuracies, misspellings, or other mistakes. Remember! Airline names must appear in Title Case. The Color Scheme must reflect the year the color scheme was introduced – in the case of retro color schemes, the year should reflect the “current” scheme, not the original year that the retro scheme depicts. If a design has been rejected only due to metadata, it is likely to be accepted when reuploaded assuming the metadata is corrected.
X Rejected – Obscuration Design rejected due to obscured template elements. Most commonly this is due to design elements covering doors, windows, etc.
X Rejected – Ownership Design rejected due to being known by us to be the design of someone other than the uploader. Models must not infringe on anyone else’s copyright or intellectual property outside of the definition of Fair Use. You may not upload someone else’s design. For any design you upload, you Airigami shall be held harmless from liability. Note that any attempt to upload another person’s work (including models produced by Airigami or PapierAvion) will result in immediate suspension and possibly a ban.
X Rejected – Plain Design rejected as insufficiently original. Models must be original and not be simply “slight tweaks” of existing Airigami designs. Equally, even if the design is technically accurate, we do not accept model uploads that feature only a minimum of design features, such as (for example) an all-white livery that features only a registration mark.
X Rejected – Quality Design rejected due to quality. Models must meet a minimum threshold of quality, and should not be overly pixelated or poorly executed. It is difficult to define such a minimum level of quality, and so the management of the Airigami web site shall have sole discretion on judging the quality of any submission. Refer to our FAQ on quality for further guidance.
X Rejected – Replication Design rejected due to replication of existing design. We generally do not accept models that already exist in the Airigami or PapierAvion collections. Note that any attempt to upload another person’s work (including models produced by Airigami or PapierAvion) will result in immediate suspension and possibly a ban.
X Rejected – Resolution Design rejected due to file resolution. When using Airigami or PapierAvion templates as required, the dimensions of the templates must be maintained as follows:
Airigami 10: 1754 pixels wide x 2480 pixels high
Airigami 3G/4G: 700 pixels wide x 950 pixels high
