• Its not exactly clear when this grey color scheme that is now widely used across FAM was introduced. Planes with this grey started popping up somewhere in the mid 1980s, but it was never announced when the first grey plane was introduced, or when it was first spotted. In 1982, Fuerza Aérea Mexicana created a new logo, green, white, and red, with the outline of a fighter jet on top. Assumingly, Fuerza Aérea Mexicana also repainted the planes.
