In the january 30 1979 a varig cargo flight 967 was flying from Narita to Rio de Janeiro and with stopover at Los Angeles. The plane takeoff normaly from Narita and 30 minutes after takeoff the atc lost the plane and try to call them but no response they immediatly lauch a rescue operation but plane or crew was never founded they simply dissapeared.
The plane is presumed to crash into water.
